Do you have the time to dedicate to your Husky?

Do you have a fenced in yard? If not, how do you intend to provide regular exercise and keep your husky from running?

While Siberian Huskies can be trained to be off leash, it takes proper training and a lot of work. And not every husky is the same. Some trained huskies will still run at an unexpected time. Do you understand that some huskies are runners and must always be kept on a leash or in a fenced in area and only properly trained to be allowed to run free? And do you understand the risks?

Some Huskies can be very opinionated and vocal. They generally bark/howl often, some more than others. That being said, is noise going to be an issue with you, anyone in your household, or where you live?

Huskies blow their coat at least twice a year and shed A LOT during this time. They require tons of brushing and still leave chunks of hair all over the place! They also can not be shaved as this would cause permanent damage to their coat, cause sunburn, skin cancer and heat stroke! It does not make them cooler nor prevent shedding. Is this something you have patience and time for?

Are you a breeder or do you plan to breed your Husky? If so, what is the name of your kennel? Website? etc.

Getting a husky is a long term commitment. They only stay cute little puppies for a very short time! They require a lot of your time and energy and can be very costly. They will be a huge responsibility and a family member, much like a toddler, for the next 10-15 years of your life. Please think ahead, will you be able to care for a dog that long? If you unexpectedly bring a child into the world? If you must move to a new home? If you must change jobs/lose your job?

We require a $200 non-refundable holding fee to hold your pick of the litter (which comes off the total amount of the puppy). This guarantees you will get the puppy you are requesting and guarantees us that you are a serious buyer. Without it, your puppy will continue to be listed as available, therefore anyone can pay a deposit on him/her and that particular puppy will no longer be available to you. If we are holding a puppy for you, do you understand that the $200 holding fee is non-refundable unless we, as the breeder, back out, or if something unfortunate happens to your puppy while in our care?

We live in north Alabama and do not ship. Are you willing to travel to our local area to pick up your puppy?

We like to keep in contact with our buyers to give support when needed, watch our babies grow and share your photos. (We never include pictures of you or any of your info, only your pupper and their name). Are you ok with this?

As a breeder who dearly loves our puppies, we require you to return your Husky to us, without refund, if you are no longer able to care for it, no matter the circumstance, no matter the age. Or to contact us and we can help you rehome your husky and approve their new owner. Our goal is to place our babies into the best homes possible. We love them very much and dedicate a lot of time and energy into bringing them into the world and we want to ensure they will have a wonderful future and avoid ever being placed in a shelter. If for whatever reason you are unable to care for your Husky and must rehome him/her, do you understand that it must be returned to us or we should be contacted to help with rehoming and approve new owners?

This application is just the beginning of our approval and does not guarantee you a puppy. If at any time we feel our puppy will not be safe in their new environment, we can and will back out of the sale. In the event this happens, all payments on said puppy will be fully refunded.
